Easy Snickerdoodle Recipe
Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 ½ cups granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons cream of tartar

1 teaspoon baking soda

¼ teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for rolling)

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (for rolling)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and 1 ½ cups sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture and mix until combined.

In a small bowl, stir together the 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.

Roll dough into 1-inch balls and coat in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place on prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 8–10 minutes, until cookies are set but still soft in the center.
