Enable outdoor operation of the AW-HE130 and AW-HE120 series integrated PTZ cameras with the HD12-CD weather-proof enclosure with active cooling, allowing use in environments with ambient temperatures ranging up to 115 degrees Fahrenheit.

The HD12-CD, when combined with the AW-HE130, is ideal for sports, weather-cam and other applications requiring broadcast quality video (and audio) acquisition in difficult or hostile environments. The camera is sold separately, and use of the AW-HE130KPJ or AW-HE120KPJ (black) model cameras is recommended to minimize internal reflections in difficult lighting conditions.

The HD12-CD is manufactured and complies with IP66/NEMA 4X standards, providing excellent protection from water, dust, marine environments and vandal abuse. The HD12-CD provides 12VDC power for the camera and accessories, but the HE130 itself may also be powered from an external PoE+ switch or injector. When PoE+ is combined with the HE130's H.264 streaming and IP-control capabilities, a revolutionary "single wire" solution is possible. The HD12-CD ships with a wall-mount/sunshade for the system, plus a compact weatherproof power supply (which must be mounted separately nearby.)
