This professional audio snake uses 25AWG conductors and features 12 downstream and 4 upstream connections. The heavy duty stage box measures 12" x 7 1/8" x 3" , has 12 female and 4 male XLR connectors, a metal mesh strain relief boot, and a metal bale to prevent stress on the individual connectors. It has a convenient handle on one end and includes mounting holes so it can be secured to a wall or floor position.

The XLR connectors have metal bodies with plastic sleeves and rubber strain relief boots. The 12 downstream connectors have black plastic rings with white numbers (1-12) and the upstream connectors have blue plastic rings with white letters (A-D). Additionally, the jacket of each cable is labeled with a number every inch or so, making it easy to trace lines and troubleshoot.

The female connectors have a locking latch, while the female ports on the stage box have locking latch release levers. The cable connection at the stage box can be removed. This allows for easy repairs or modifications to suit your individual needs.

The main cable has an outside diameter of about 3/4".
