ASI's Germ Guard' grab bars are designed to suppress the growth of mold, bacteria, fungus, algae, mildew, and yeasts, and to withstand salt spray corrosion. They are made from stainless steel and are finished with an electrostatically applied antimicrobial powder coating.
This powder coating is custom formulated to incorporate slow release silver ions (Ag+), the most powerful and long lasting natural antimicrobial agent known ' giving these grab bars an excellent effective lifetime.
Features include cover that snaps over mounting flange dimples to conceal screws and concealed mounting flange of 31/8" (79 mm) O.D. diameter with 2 screw holes and 3 locking dimples; 1/8" (3 mm) thick, type 304 stainless steel. Cover is type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish and 22 gauge, 33/16" (81 mm) diameter.
